This whole blog is about the life and times of well... the Foreman Family. (I thought it might just be a little obvious!!) Originally the Foreman family consisted of 2 people, Mark and Cathy Foreman. Happly married in 1990 they started their journey together. At the time Mark was the ag teacher in the small little town of Groesbeck. It was not long after that he found a job at a little bigger school, Hempstead. The two, with a little help from family, moved a really old house out to a old country road. Eventually they gut and redid the house and made it their own. (of course that is still kind of in progress even today...) It was not until 1995 that the little family grew a little. On august 15th of 1995 a small girl was added to the foreman family by the name of Emily Elizabeth. (it was not till later that they figured out they had named her the same as the girl off of Clifford) As the girl grew she learned about how God created the earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th. She heard the stories of Noah, Abraham, and most of all Jesus. Veggietales was watched on a regular basis and it was watched so much that she now can sing the theme song, or any other veggietales song, on mentioning of cucumbers. In 2000 the family was blessed by growing a little more. On May 30, 2000 a small boy was added to the growing family, his name was James Brady Foreman. It was one year later, when at the age of 6 that the small girl, Emily, accepted Jesus as her lord and savior. Life went on and the young boy learned the bible stories just as the young girl did. At the age of 5 the young boy accepted Jesus as his lord and savior. It was that same year, 2005 when the foremans had to take into their home Mr. Foreman's guardian, his aunt Stella.She was 94 years old was still in pretty good shape, but she was determined to stay outside in the heat and take care of her flowers. After a year, or so, the Foremans hired a nurse to help take care of Grandma, as the children called her. At the age of 96, Stella passed away. Life moved on, and Emily started showing brahman cattle, the age of 9 to be precise, and loved it. She also showed swine at the Waller county fair( her first pigs names were Oreo and Cookie), and she also began showing chickens for the Houston Livestock show and rodeo. Brady, also began to show livestock. He showed his first pigs at 8 years of age and then began to show brahman cattle the following year. For 18 years the Foreman Family had lived in Hempstead and that was all about to change. In the year 2010, Mr. Foreman accepted a job in the small town of Big Sandy, by Tyler. ( I don't know if you have noticed but, everything seems to happening in 5 year incraments... coincidence I think not!!) The children went to school at Big Sandy, while Mr. Foreman tought Ag. It was at the end of the year when he found out that they would be moving back. With Texas public schools being in financial chaos Big Sandy had to cut all their first year teachers, Mr. Foreman was one of them. It was all in God's hands though because they did not sell their house in Hempstead and had not bought one in Big Sandy. So in summer of 2011 the Foreman Family moved again, but back home. Times got stressfull while Mr.Foreman was looking for a job. Even Mrs. Foreman began to search around(she is a stay at home mom!). Finally, almost a week before the hiring deadline, Mr. Foreman got a job as the Ag teacher at the small town of Richards. The kids were already signed up to go to Faith Academy, a small private school in Bellville, and they begin school August 16th, the day after Emily birthday.
Life may be hard and times may be tough but God is good...ALL the time and HE will always provide!
